This horn started as a fairly straight instrument with valves in excellent condition. As you can see from the "before" pictures, there was significant pitting on the casing and some tubes. This horn also required some tube replacement because of red rot. After the overhaul, the instrument looks like new, and because of eliminating the tension, plays more evenly.
